The background is the remembered interior of the seaside cabin my extended family shared on holidays. Sadly the cabin at Connarr Beach no longer stands but the three room shack of sunbleached timber will always be a favourite memory. The bowl is also a sentimentality, one of a few remaining pieces of poppy-themed crockery given to me by a now passed-away family friend.
