A collection of 19 realist paintings featuring tealight candles juxtaposed in marine contexts.

This body of work reflects on the push and pull of the forces both internal and external which govern our experiences. The context of our histories against the immediacy of our present; the beauty and grace of the natural world against the erosion it inevitably demands; the simultaneous helplessness and hope which are inextricable from our passage through life.
