This is a watercolour and gouache rendition of leopard sharks (or zebra sharks to the US) gliding over a reef in Queensland. The background is acrylic, and the piece is painted on 300gsm hot-press paper.
Credit to Tracy Olive, the marine photographer who kindly let me use several images of an individual shark and several reef shots to compose this painting.
